East Garo Hills District Election Officer (DEO) organizes car rally

DEO Jagdish Chelani, organized a car rally on Williamnagar-Rongjeng-Nongchram-Nengkhra-Williamnagar route on 24 February

WILLIAMNAGAR: With a view to motivate the voters on ethical voting, East Garo Hills District Election Officer (DEO), Jagdish Chelani, organized a car rally on the Williamnagar-Rongjeng-Nongchram-Nengkhra-Williamnagar route on 24 February where the officials from various departments, police, CAPF personnel and the district election icon, Anilbirth D Sangma participated.

During the rally, election songs including state anthem and songs for PWD voters also were played and the District Public Relations Officer, spoke on the importance of free and fair voting,stated a press release.
