WILLIAMNAGAR: The East Garo Hills Health and Family Welfare Department is all set to observe implementation of the ‘Intensified Mission Indradhanus’ with a week-long programme beginning from Monday. According to the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), Dr. Janulla K Marak, during the week-long programme, immunization will be provided in an intensified manner to all the left-out, drop-out, resistant families, pregnant women and the children in the age-group of 0-2 years in the district. The DMHO has requested the citizens and stakeholders to extend support and cooperation for successful implementation of the programme.
The week-long programme will be formally launched by the Deputy Commissioner, Swapnil Tembe, at DRDA Hall-I in Williamnagar, the DMHO added in a press release.
