Guwahati: The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education has finally announced the Class 10 secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) examination and the 50,081 students who appeared for the exams can check their MBOSE SSLC Result 2020 now at mbose.in, the official website.

This year, Chetna Bose from the Sherwood School in Tura has topped the exams with 568 marks, followed by Sainava Modak from the St. Thomas Higher Secondary School in Shillong. Check the complete list of toppers down below:

This year, the results will not be displayed at the MBOSE office due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the students have been urged to check their results online.

A total of 25,195 students cleared the SSLC exam this year, with 16,035 regular students and 4,910 private candidates. A total of 50.31 per cent students cleared the SSLC, class 10 exam this year. The pass percentage of regular students is 75 per cent, while 41.29 per cent private candidates passed the SSLC exam.

This is an all-time low in the past 5 years. Last year, the pass percentage was 55.72%.

Step 2: Click on the download result link

Step 3: Enter registration number, roll number

Step 4: Result will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference.

The Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, meanwhile, while congratulating those who cleared the exams, urged the ones who did not make the cut not to feel disheartened. "Heartiest congratulations to the toppers and meritorious students who passed the Meghalaya SSLC examinations. As you move on to a new chapter in your life, I wish each of you the very best. To those who did not succeed, may you find renewed determination to try harder next year", Sangma wrote in a tweet.
