Meghalaya: 10 dies of COVID in the last 24 hours

SHILLONG: Ten more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours (till the time of filing this report) in the State and the number of new COVID cases rose to 420.

As many as 298 persons recovered.

To date, as many as 807 people have died of COVID and there a total of 4424 active cases in the State.

The deaths were registered from — East Khasi Hills (7), West Jaintia Hills (2) and East Garo Hills (1).

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma announced that two localities in Zone 3- Police Bazar & Keating Road have finished 100 per cent vaccination for all residents as well as shopkeepers and staff.
