Meghalaya: CM Conrad Sangma Inaugurated the Annex building of Meghalaya High Court

Conrad K. Sangma, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, today officially opened the Meghalaya High Court's Annex building in Shillong in the presence of the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, Sanjib Banerjee, Education Minister Rakkam Sangma, and Law Minister Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh.

The construction of the new annex building is an important turning point in the development and improvement of the state's judicial infrastructure. The new structure, which cost Rs 45 crore to build, has a courtroom, as well as other administrative amenities.

The High Court will benefit greatly from the space and amenities that the annex building will provide.Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma gave a speech at the opening ceremony during which he expressed his gratitude for the work done to develop the annex building. He stressed how crucial it is to have a well-resourced and up-to-date court infrastructure in order to guarantee the efficient administration of justice.

The Meghalaya High Court was commended by the Chief Minister for its dedication to maintaining the ideals of justice for all and fairness and transparency.

The Meghalaya High Court's capacity and effectiveness will be considerably improved by the annex building.

He also emphasized the government's dedication to the state's overall infrastructure development. He revealed that considerable investments had been made recently to modernize higher education facilities as well as government LP and UP schools.

Chief Minister noted the procedure to repair, renovate, and build around 2500 LP & UP school infrastructures in the next years is also in progress, underscoring the government's priority on education.

This program strives to improve the educational setting and offer cutting-edge amenities to students throughout Meghalaya. The goal of the government is to guarantee that every student has access to a high-quality education in facilities that are state-of-the-art.

The government's overarching objective of enhancing the framework of the state's educational system is in line with the investment in school infrastructure.
