SHILLONG: Meghalaya, on Saturday, registered two more Covid-19 deaths, 81 new cases and 182 recovered from the virus. Health authorities informed that both the deaths were recorded in East Khasi Hills district and one of them was not vaccinated. With the latest figures, the State now has 1417 total fatalities, 1223 total active cases and so far 79724 have recovered from the virus.

The district wise breakup of the active cases are: 650 in East Khasi Hills District; 337 in West Khasi Hills, 122 in West Jaintia Hills, 47 in Ri-Bhoi, 20 in South West Khasi Hills, 19 in West Garo Hills, 13 in East Garo Hills, eight in East Jaintia Hills, three in South West Garo Hills and two each in South Garo Hills and North Garo Hills districts.
