Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee condoles demise of Dr A Zaman

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), expresses profound grief and sorrow at the sudden passing away of Dr Azad Zaman, MLA from 47- Rajabala Constituency on March 4.

Meghalaya PCC recalled his immense contribution to the party, the people of his constituency and the State, in his short illustrious life.

''The party has lost a bright shining star in his young age, and no words would be enough to describe his sad demise, and observed that the void caused due to the untimely demise would be difficult to fill,'' stated a MPCC release.

Meghalaya PCC prayed to the Almighty to give solace and strength to his wife Hasina Yasmin Mondol his three children and all members of the bereaved family to bear this untimely and irreparable loss.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, said the release signed by James S. Lyngdoh, working president of Meghalaya PCC.
