Meghalaya Pradesh Election Committee candidates for GHADC polls

SHILLONG: The Congress has finalised the names of the 17 candidates for the elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC). A meeting of the Meghalaya Pradesh Election Committee (MPCC) held on February 9 approved this first list.

The candidates and their constituencies are as follows: Kenadick S Marak (Siju); Freedarson N Sangma (Wagesik); Willy D Shira (Silkigre); Dipur Sangma (Rangrikkimgre); Olendro R Marak (Gasuapara); Sarbha R Marak (Barengapara); Nehru D Sangma (Amongpara); Sadhia Rani M Sangma (Dengnakpara); Mrinal R Marak (Naguapara); Kunal Ch Momin (Tura); Adamkid M Sangma (Asanang); Kansan Sangma (Nogorpara); Rinaldo K Sangma (Rongrong); Pardinand D Shira (Damas); Cherak Watre Momin (Kharkutta); Rapiush Ch Sangma (Darugre); and Alphonsush R Marak (Williamnagar), stated a release signed by MPCC general secretary Dr.Manash Das Gupta.
