Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress (MPMC) slams BJP secretary Arun Singh

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress (MPMC) has slammed BJP general secretary Arun Singh for his remark that the BJP is looking to wipe out the Congress from Meghalaya in 2023.

MPMC president Joplyn Scott Shylla said that the BJP should also look at its dismal economic performance on the economic front with rising fuel prices, high inflation in all sectors and surmounting unemployment rate.

"The BJP should know that its time is up. To say that it will wipe out an established party like the Congress is akin to jumping before even looking at the depth of the well," stated the MPMC State President Joplyn S. Shylla.
