Meghalaya reported 285 cases of COVID-19 recoveries & 80 new cases

SHILLONG: Meghalaya reported 285 cases of COVID-19 recoveries and 80 new positive cases on Friday. It is the highest single day recovery in the State so far. 285 patients who have recovered on Friday includes 242 from East Khasi Hills ( 23 Armed Force/Para Military Force, 209 Others) , 10 from West Garo Hills, 21 from Ri Bhoi District , South Garo Hills 02, East Jaintia Hills 02, South West Khasi hills 02, North Garo Hills 03 and West Jaintia Hills 03 . Total tally of recoveries stands at 3,343.

Out 0f 80 new positive cases in East Khasi Hills district, 45 new cases were reported (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 01 and others 44 ), West Garo Hills 20 ( 8 Armed Force/Para Military Force, 12 Others), North Garo HilMeghalaya reported 285 cases of COVID-19 recoveries and 80 new positive cases on Friday. It is the highest single day recovery in the State so far. 285 patients who have recovered on Friday is 09, East Jaintia hills 01, Ri Bhoi 02, South West Garo Hills 02 and West Jaintia Hills 01 positive case. So far the state has 1,772 active cases. Out of 1,772 total active cases, in East Khasi Hills 1,198 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 120 and Others: 1,078). In west Khasi Hills District 09 cases, Ri Bhoi district 139 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 26 and Others : 139 ),South West Khasi Hills 03, West Jaintia Hills district 08, East Jaintia Hills district 274, West Garo Hills district 95 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 43 and Others :52), South West Garo Hills district 14, South Garo Hills district 03, East Garo Hills district 07 and North Garo Hills district 22. The total COVID-19 cases in the state is 5,158.
