MLA Sanbor Shullai extends aid to kin of landslide victims

SHILLONG: MLA Sanbor Shullai extended financial assistance and household materials to 10 families who are landslide victims due to incessant and heavy rainfall occurred recently. An amount of Rs 1,10,000 has been sanctioned and distributed to the kin of landslide victims under the 'MLA Discretionary Grant' for the year 2020-21. The assistances were distributed at a meeting held at the Lumsohphoh Community Hall, Upper Lumparing here on November 7.

The gathering was also attended by H.B. Wahlang, Rangbah Shnong of Upper Lumparing, Shaiphar Wahlang, Ragbah Shnong of Kynjat Phutbol and member of Dorbar Shnong and N. G. Dey-President, A. Das, Secretary and Shibu Das, Joint Secretary of the Lumparing Welfare Society and members of MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency.

The gathering ended with the vote of thanks and prayer service conducted by Testwell Nongdhar-President of MCIC, 19 South Shillong Constituency Lumparing Unit.
