More Shillong houses declared containment areas

SHILLONG: To contain the spread of COVID-19, East Khasi Hills District Magistrate, Matsiewdor War Nongbri has declared more houses as containment areas here after the detection of positive cases.

The order issued on Saturday informed that COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in the houses of Mainly Warji, Chinapatty, Arcdia Kharmujai, Dhanketi, Dapda Warjri and Parkordor Jarian of Lumbalang, Jenny Mary Basaiawmoit, Khliehshnong and Balbarico Kharmudai, Kharmalki of Malki, Shillong and De'Arco and Lovely Stores at Malki Point, House No. U/B-007, behind Victoria Landmark Guest house, Upper Nongrim Hills, Shillong and house and coumpound of Dr. Teiborlang Rymbai in Demthring Block-I, Shillong.
