Vehicles Movement is Allowed on odd-even basis in Meghalaya: West Garo Hills DM

TURA: West Garo Hills District Magistrate, Ram Singh, passed an order on Sunday, thereby allowing the movement of commercial, non-commercial and private vehicles on an odd/even number basis during the lockdown relaxation time with immediate effect in the district.

Accordingly, the vehicles with odd numbers are allowed on Tuesday and Thursday and the even numbers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the occupants and travellers directed to strictly adhere to SOPs and advisories issued by the Government of Meghalaya, stated a release.

However, no movement of vehicles will be allowed from 2 pm to 5 am and Saturdays and Sundays will remain closed, the order said.
