National People's Party (NPP) to boost party in Nongthymmai

SHILLONG: The Nongthymmai Block Committee of NPP in a meeting of its executive committee (EC) has taken a decision to further strengthen the party in the Nongthymmai constituency. The committee also elected its executive members including president Ehkupar Nongrum, vice -president John Synrem, president (Women’s wing) Sunny Kharsuk, vice-president (Women’s wing) Mekalinda Rani, youth president Gerry Nongrum, and general secretary Rito Sing Syiem besides other members.

The EC has taken a decision to create new units in every locality under Nongthymmai constituency and elect party workers and leaders in each unit.

President of NPP NBC (Nongthymmai Block Constituency) Ehkupar Nongrum said that the EC has also decided to organize health camps as well as various awareness programmes on the dangers of drugs.
