No data on HNLC cadres in Bangladesh: BSF IG

SHILLONG: Inspector General (IG) of BSF Inderjit Singh Rana said on Friday that they do not have detailed information about the strength of the banned Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) in Bangladesh.

In response to a query, Rana said, "We cannot confirm how many HNLC cadres are there as we don't have the exact figures presently. We are trying to find out with our sister agencies and local police about the number of cadres as well as the locations of the camps of the banned outfit in Bangladesh."

"Whenever we get the exact locations we will share details with the media and our counterparts in Bangladesh," Rana said.
