People’s Democratic Party (PDF) Announces Candidate For KHADC Polls

SHILLONG: The People’s Democratic Party (PDF) has announced the name of Joseph J Makdoh to contest the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) polls scheduled for February 27, from Mawhati Constituency.

The decision to field Makdoh was taken in a meeting held on January 16, at Mawlasnai in which new members of the People’s Democratic Party Zonal Committee Mawhati Constituency was also strengthened. The meeting was also attended by former members of the committee.

The new members of the committee were incorporated into the party in the presence of People’s Democratic Party president Ivanlumlang Marbaniang.

Joseph J Makdoh was also selected as the new President of PDF Zonal Committee Mawhati Constituency, Peter Thongni as Vice President Paulloste Makdoh as general secretary, Eden Makdoh and Paul Sten as assistant general secretary, Thomas Lamarai as finance secretary beside others.
