Power cut announcement by Executive Engineer (PHE) at Mawkriah village

SHILLONG: The Executive Engineer (PHE), GSWS Division No-II, Mawphlang has informed that due to breakdown of the 750mm dia C.I. Gravity Main of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme at Mawkriah village at 8:30 PM on the 29th September, 2021, there will be no water supply till the evening of 2nd October, 2021.

The areas which will be affected during the above mentioned period are Shillong Municipal Board areas, Shillong Cantonment Board areas, Nongthymmai and Mawlai.

Every effort is being made to complete the repair works for restoration of normal water supply by the evening of 2nd October, 2021.
