'Sewa Saptah' held in Shillong; State BJP distributes PPE kits

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya BJP distributed PPE kits to the Municipal workers at Marten — situated about eight km from here — on Saturday. The programme was organised as a part of the 'Sewa Saptah' Service Week (on the occasion of Prime Minister's Narendra Modi's birthday).

Before the distribution, Meghalaya BJP president Ernest Mawrie lauded the works of Municipal workers. Among those present on the occasion were the party's State vice president Dipayan Chakraborty, State secretary Arandati Paul and Shillong city district vice president Rocky Hek, stated a release.
