SHILLONG: One of the most popular events in the Northeastern region, the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival is set to be organised in a completely new location. Earlier majorly confined within the city area, this year’s festival is set to be organised in an exciting all-new multi-stage layout at the stunning RBDSA Sports Complex from 17 to 19 November.

The organisers have mentioned that this edition of the event will present an incredible array of artists for the enthusiasts. The headliner line-up for the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2023 includes internationally acclaimed sensations such as Ne-Yo, Ronan Keating, Sanam, Jonas Blue, SURL, Pink Panda, Kenny Musik and an array of local talents, including Meba Ofilia, Lou Majaw, Blue Temptation, and many more popular artists from the state as well as entire Northeast India. The local artists will add their distinctive flavours, creating a harmonious blend of musical talent that is unique to the essence of Shillong, mentioned the organisers.

Apart from the music, this festival will have a wide of activities for the visitors. From cosplay competitions that celebrate the spirit of fantasy and imagination to the Miss and Mr. Cherry Blossom Pageant where the essence of beauty and grace will be recognized. The choir contest will fill the air with harmonious melodies, and the graffiti contest and art installation contest will transform the festival grounds into an open-air art gallery. There will also be a karaoke contest for the enthusiasts to participate.

The organisers mentioned that there will be a Ferris wheel to get a breathtaking view of the festival grounds and the city and a zipline will be created for the adventure junkies.

The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2023 will celebration of culture, art, and music and with the new multi-stage layout at the RBDSA Sports Complex, this year's festival promises to be bigger, better, and more unforgettable than ever before.
