GUWAHATI: Acting on specific intelligence that cattle-laden trucks will cross through Baghmara area and further these trucks will unload near the Bangladesh international border, a special mobile check post was laid by the troops of BSF at Baghmara in South Garo Hills, Meghalaya. Later troops deployed on duty intercepted a vehicle near Jacksogram village on NH-62. The driver and two persons were apprehended by the BSF. The BSF also seized the cattle meant to be smuggled into Bangladesh, stated a press release.
