World Music Day: MP Agatha Sangma launches music incubation at Tura

TURA: On the occasion of World Music Day, Tura MP, Agatha K Sangma, launched the Prime Music Incubation sponsored by the Prime Meghalaya in collaboration with Durama Association of Music and Arts (DAMA), in the presence of West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Swapnil Tembe, Sub-Divional Officer (C), Dadenggre Civil Subdivision, Vibhor Aggarwal, the members and officials of Prime Meghalaya, music enthusiasts, school children and other dignitaries at the District Auditorium, Tura, on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Agatha K Sangma said that the music incubation is providing opportunity to all the talented young people to actually showcase the immense talent they have and provide them with technical and other forms of support that they would require. She also informed that the government recognizes and supports what the youth require and through the initiative of launch-pad, the Government of Meghalaya is recognizing and giving an opportunity or platform where the young talents can explore their interests and their talents.

On the occasion, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner delivered the welcome address, stated a press release.
