Assam Rifles conducted lecture on recruitment in Army at Zochachhua village

AIZAWL: Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted a motivational lecture on "Various Recruitments in Army/Assam Rifles" at Zochachhua village on 14 October 2022. A total of 19 youth, women, children and village elders attended the informative lecture.

During the lecture, students were informed about the role of defence forces, various entrance/examinations, eligibility in respect of qualification/age, procedure to apply, duration of the training, pay/ privileges/ facilities & opportunities. While interacting with the students it was observed that many of them were keen to join forces but due to a lack of knowledge about the eligibility and means to apply for the entrance examination, they were not able to utilize the opportunity. The locals of Zochachhua village were very happy and expressed their gratitude for the initiative taken by Assam Rifles, a press release said.
