Assam Rifles conducts lecture on COVID-19 awareness at Mizoram

AIZAWL: The Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted a lecture on COVID-19 awareness at Hmawngbuchhuah village on May 10.

The aim of the lecture was to create awareness among the local population about the prevailing COVID-19 situation. The lecture mainly focused upon precautionary measures and Do's & Don'ts during COVID-19 pandemic to avoid any loss of life due to COVID-19. The lecture also covered the good practices to be followed to fight against COVID-19 like maintaining physical distancing, wearing of mask, keeping rooms well ventilated, avoiding crowds, cleaning hands regularly coughing into a bent elbow or tissue.

The awareness lecture was attended by 16 locals of Hmawngbuchhuah village, stated a press release.
