Assam Rifles conducts lecture on Hindi as Official Language

 AIZAWL: The Lunglei Battalion of Headquarters 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted an awareness lecture on “Hindi Language as Official Language” at Saiha village on July 14, 2023.

A total of 36 youth, women, children, and village elders from Saiha village attended the lecture.

The aim of this awareness lecture was to impart an understanding of the Hindi language and enhance the communicative and interactive skills of locals. The focus of the lecture was to educate the locals that knowledge of Hindi will increase their employability in India. During the lecture, villagers were also informed that Hindi is our national language. India has one of the most diverse cultures in the world, with diverse religions, traditions, and languages. The lecture received an overwhelming response from the locals, a press release said.
