Assam Rifles holds COVID-19 awareness drive at Thekpui

AIZAWL: In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Serchhip Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 23 Sector Assam Rifles/Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) organized an awareness drive on COVID-19 at Thekpui Village on Saturday.

The aim of this drive was to generate awareness amongst villagers about COVID-19 by pasting posters in the village. COVID-19 safety posters were pasted across the village to educate the masses about the COVID-19 protocols such as the need to maintain social distancing, wash hands, proper wearing of masks and avoidance of social gatherings. The village authorities appreciated the awareness drive and assured their support in the fight against COVID-19, stated a release.
