Assam Rifles seized Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 12.12 cr in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Assam Rifles, under Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), recovered 40400 x Methamphetamine Tablets worth Rs 12.12 crore in the general area of Zote, Champhai, on October 12.

The operation was carried out by a combined team of the Assam Rifles and Excise and Narcotics Department, Champhai, based on specific information. The entire consignment has been handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department in Champhai for further legal proceedings, stated a press release.
