Assam Rifles seizes foreign liquor worth Rs 64,000 in Champhai district

AIZAWL: In its crusade against smuggling activities, Serchip Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), recovered Foreign Origin Liquor worth Rs 54,000 in general area Zokhawthar along Indo-Myanmar Border of Champhai district on June 25, 2022.

The operation was carried out by a team of 8 Assam Rifles on specific information.

The approximate cost of the recovered foreign Origin Liquor is worth Rs 54,000, a press release said.
