Mizoram: BSF Head Constable Lalfam Kima from Mizoram Laid to Rest After Tragic Pakistani Firing Incident

AIZAWL: In a tragic incident, Head Constable Lalfam Kima, a dedicated personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) hailing from Mizoram, lost his life in unprovoked cross-border firing by Pakistani Rangers along the Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir on November 9. This brave soldier will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 11, after his body was brought back to his hometown of Aizawl in Mizoram.

Lalfam Kima served as a head constable in the BSF's 148th battalion, dedicating his life to ensuring the safety and security of the nation's borders. Unfortunately, he was critically injured during the cross-border firing incident and was immediately rushed to a hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he passed away on the morning of November 9.
