MIZORAM: The Chief Minister of Mizoram, PU Zoramthanga, visited to the Government Serchhip College of Mizoram on Saturday. While there, he laid the foundation for the college’s administrative block, which will cost Rs 6.5 crore and take two years to be completed. He also lauded the Assam Rifles for its efforts in support of national development initiatives, stated a press release.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of education and its utility in transforming lives and society. The efforts of Serchhip Battalion were lauded by Chief Minister who was given Guard of Honour by NCC Cadets of Government Serchhip College, trained by Serchhip Battalion.
