Dimapur police arrests one in connection with the brutal murder of a class 10 female student

Dimapur: The Dimapur police has arrested one male, in connection with the brutal murder incident of a class 10th female student. The body of the student was found in the school premises of St. Clare School in Kacharigaon, Dimapur.

Dimapur Police gave the information regarding the arrest of one accused through Twitter. 

The incident happened near the areas between Aoyimkum and Indisen, Dimapur. The village councils of these areas including Kacharigaon Phevima, Indisen, Senjum, Aoyimkum and Kashiram condemned the brutal murder of the girl that took place on Thursday morning. They are extending their full co-operation for the investigation of this incident and has requested the police as well as the investigating agencies to do everything possible to arrest the murderers.

According to some reports, it is a case of suspected rape and murder but police is yet to confirm.
