DIMAPUR: An eight-year-old girl from Nagaland, Mishanli Easteryna Yanthan has become one of the youngest authors in the State.

Her debut book — 'The Unforgettable Trip to Drumheller and Other Stories' — published by the 'Heritage Publishing House' and it was launched on October 24. Mishanli is a Class-III student at Hope Academy here. Her book was launched by the administrator of Hope Academy, SashilaOzukum.

While giving her speech, the young author said that she wrote the book to fulfil her dream of visiting 'The Royal Tyrrel Museum' in Drumheller, Canada, which is a famous dinosaur museum.

Mishanli said that no matter how old or young one is, they can always dream. One should always keep trying until they reach their dreams.

SashilaOzukum congratulated Mishanli, and marked her as the youngest author of the 'Heritage Publishing House'. Sashila wished that the author takes her dreams to higher grounds, turning it into reality, and keep on giving hope to readers. The illustrations of the book were done by PulotoChishi, which have exciting colours that attract the attention of the young readers. Dr. Adela Mao, in her book review, said that the book is eye-catching and well-illustrated. (Agencies)
