KOHIMA: The Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy in Nagaland has made history by breaking the previous record for the "highest martial arts kick (assisted)." According to Guinness World Records, the amazing accomplishment occurred on July 5, 2023, in Mumbai while India's Got Talent was being filmed.

The gifted martial team from Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy travelled to Mumbai last month to compete in the studio round of India's Got Talent after successfully advancing through auditions and mega auditions. They asked for the public's support before the event by publicly announcing their plan to try for a Guinness World Record.

Taking on Twitter, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extend his best wishes and wrote, “I am happy to know that Faith In Action from Nagaland created a new Guinness World Records

In 2014, in the "Team Aerobic Competition" at the World Taekwon-do Hanmadang,which took place in Pohang City, South Korea, Faith in Action emerged as the global winners.

The 20-person team Faith In Action was one of the 38 individuals who competed for India as members of the Taekwondo Board of India. The competition featured a total of 4000 participants from 147 nations.

The team from the "Faith-in-Action Taekwondo Academy" in Dimapur won the Team Aerobic Competition and claimed the title of world champions, being the first Indian team to accomplish so in 40 years.

The "Faith-in-Action Taekwondo Academy," founded in 2008, has been enticing kids to learn martial arts and steer clear of bad behaviours like drug use. At numerous local, regional, and national events, this academy's students have taken home medals.
