Nagaland: Kohima Police nabs extortionist from NSCN(IM)

Kohima: The Kohima Police on October 7 arrested one person on charges of extortion from Tin Patti area, Kohima. The accused person has been identified as, SS. Razu Peyu of NSCN (IM), Abei Kimho, S/o. Late Kevi Kimho, Village- Piphema, PO/PS- Medziphema, District- Dimapur, Present Address- Kenuozou Colony, Kohima. The Police recovered 40 extortion slips belonging to NSCN (IM) and other incriminating items from the possession of the Peyu. According to the Kohima Police sources, a case has been registered at North Police Station and further investigation is on.
