Guwahati: Nagaland has registered 34 more COVID-19 cases on Thursday, July 2. With the detection of these cases, the Nagaland Covid-19 tally has reached 535. To date, 182 persons in the state have recovered from the viral disease, while 353 cases are still active.
Out of 226 samples examined, 34 fresh COVID-19 cases have been detected. It has been reported 32 infected patients are from Peren QC and two others are from Kohima QC and Dimapur QC.
"34 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 226 samples tested. Peren quarantine centre: 32 Kohima quarantine centre and 1 from Dimapur quarantine centre: 1", Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom shared on Twitter.
It is to be mentioned that on Wednesday, 21 persons were detected with the virus in the state. It needs mention here that all the Covid-19 positive cases in the state have been detected amid the influx of returning citizens who were stranded in other parts of the country amid the lockdown.
