NF Railway to Run Single Trip Special Train Between Guwahati to Bengaluru on Sunday

In order to accommodate the increased demand for passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run a one-way special train between Guwahati and SMVT Bengaluru. On Sunday, June 18, the unique train will make a single trip.

GUWAHATI: In order to accommodate the increased demand for passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run a one-way special train between Guwahati and SMVT Bengaluru. On Sunday, June 18, the train will make a single trip.

In light of this, special train No. 05698 (Guwahati - SMVT Bengaluru) will leave Guwahati on Sunday at 23:10.

The 18 coaches that make up the unique train will be. Coaches with second seats, sleeper class, and AC 3 tier will be available. The facility is available to customers on wait lists for other trains on this route.

The IRCTC website provides information on this train's stops and schedules, and N.F. Railway also posts notifications about these events on its social media accounts and in a number of newspapers. Before starting their travel, passengers are urged to double-check the information.

On Wednesday, June 21, at 15:30, the special train will depart from Rangiya and go through New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Katihar, Barauni Jn., Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Vijayawada Jn., and Katpadi Jn.

On the other hand, in May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi essentially kicked off the inaugural Vande Bharat Express to connect Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and the Northeast.

Along with the semi-high-speed train, PM Modi also gave the nation a gift by dedicating the electrified parts of New Bongaigaon-Dudhnoi-Mendipather and Guwahati-Chaparmukh. Additionally, he opened Lumding's new DEMU/MEMU (workshop for trains) shed.

The Vande Bharat Express has executive chair cars with 52 seats each car, regular chair cars with 78 seats per car and driving trailer coaches with 44 seats per coach.

According to a government official, the Vande Bharat train introduces new-age rail travel with airline-like travel sensations for people in the northeast who would be able to experience comfort and speed during the voyage.
