A 90-year-old woman raped by two men in Tripura

Kanchanpur (Tripura): A 90-year-old woman, who stays alone in Tripura's Kanchanpur was raped by two men at her residence. A case has been registered on October 29, against the two men by a relative of the elderly woman.

The incident happened on October 24. Of the two accused, one has been identified as Anjan Nama, a 35-year old man from Barahaldi village, and the other is an unidentified man who barged into the elderly woman's house. They gang-raped her and later fled from the spot.

The 90-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital, and the medical examination of the woman has been done. The investigation is underway and the police are trying their best to arrest the two accused.
