Guwahati: As a part of a special drive against narcotics, almost 3 lakh immature marijuana saplings cultivated in approximately 25-hectare forest land near Ghatighar village in the Sonamura area of Tripura's Sepahijala district were destroyed by the Border Security Force (BSF). They were assisted by the Police and forest officials of Sepahijala.
After conducting the operation, the BSF said that the saplings of the banned substance were cultivated in an area of approximately 25-hectares of the forest land near the Ghatighar village in Tripura, which was destroyed by the 74 battalion BSF personnel.
