Tripura BJP Worker Severely Beaten, CM Issues Strong Warning

AGARTALA: On January 24, BJP supporters from Agartala's Banamalipur Assembly Constituency claimed to have been brutally attacked. Suman Das, the victim, was heading home after finishing his morning stroll when he sustained severe head injuries.

He was taken to GB Pant hospital quickly after the event. Meanwhile, the victim was seen at the hospital by the chief minister, Dr. Manik Saha, the speaker of the Tripura legislative assembly, Ratan Chakraborty, and former chief minister and member of parliament, Biplab Kumar Deb.

"Suman Das, a member of our party, was violently attacked, so I came to visit her. He represents the Banamalipur assembly constituency as Mandal president. He is an incredibly sincere karyakarta. After his morning workout, Congress-backed goondas violently attacked him as he was making his way home.

Such shady politics have been seen before, and they have already begun now. Even while they constantly preach about law and order, they merely serve to weaken it. Their primary task, as they have in the past, is to assassinate members of the opposition. They have since joined CPIM "CM Saha claimed that the BJP members' health was in grave danger.

CM Dr. Saha issued the following warning to Congress employees: "When the BJP came to power, we wanted to be free from incidents like these, so I told the police not to spare anyone. However, now that they are trying to operate in a similar manner once more. Police are pursuing that goal.

I'm warning the Election Commission that nobody will be spared when we meet with them about this matter as well. We won't stand for it. He may have mentioned the identities of four or five people, therefore police are looking for the criminals. They made terrible attempts to kill him ".
