AGARTALA: In the 22nd phase of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu program, Chief Minister Manik Saha met with residents from various parts of the state, dedicating time at his official residence to listen to their concerns and address various issues.

Participants of the program reportedly left the interaction with positive response, as the Chief Minister not only provided immediate assistance but also made genuine efforts to resolve the problems raised.

Namita Bhowmik, a resident of Narsinghar, sought the Chief Minister's support for her daughter, Indrani, who requires medical treatment and education due to her disability. Despite multiple medical treatments, Indrani had not shown improvement, and financial constraints made it difficult to continue her treatment and education.

Upon reviewing Indrani's medical records, the Chief Minister recommended regular physiotherapy and ensured support for her treatment. He also discussed the matter with the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education to guarantee a monthly allowance of Rs 2000.

Pradyot Das, a small trader residing in Agartala's Resham Bagan area, expressed his challenges in affording medical treatment and education for his son, who has a disability. Recognizing their difficulties, the Chief Minister promptly reached out to local MLA Ratan Chakraborty by phone and assured them of the necessary support.

Biswajit Saha, a resident of Bishalgarh in Sepahijala District, is dealing with cancer and the financial burden of his treatment. Upon learning of Biswajit Saha's situation, the Chief Minister instructed the Medical Superintendent of Agartala Cancer Hospital to take the necessary steps for his treatment and provide financial assistance.

Others, like Rishikesh Adhikari of Panisagar, Anil Chandra Nama of Manu Bazar in South Tripura, Bijay Kar of Jayanagar Akhaura Road, and Swarup Saha of Madhya Banamalipur, also sought medical assistance and were assured of necessary help by the Chief Minister.

The event included the participation of Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Medical Superintendents of GBP Hospital and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital, as well as officials from various concerned departments.
