Unrecruited love drives 14 year old girl to suicide in Tripura

Sepahijala: A 14- year old girl, Soma Akhtar, committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence at Aralia village of Bisalgarh in Sepahijala district of Tripura.

The incident came to light after her family found her hanging from the celiling fan of her room at 3.30 am on Wednesday. The incident has left everyone around the locality shocked. Bishalgard Women's Police station personnel reached the spot for investigation.

A suicide note was recovered where she stated she took the extreme step as the person she was in love with did not reciprocate her feelings.

Soma Akhtar was a student of ninth standard and daughter of Abdul Halim.
