Durga Puja 2019: Chandmari Rajahuwa Puja Samiti in Guwahati to celebrate their 67th Durga Puja

Speaking to The Sentinel Digital, Chandmari Puja Samiti informed that the first puja was held in Chandmari in the year 1952.

This year a 250 members committee was formed. They are also not going to cut cost in any security aspects. Besides deployment of volunteers and home guards, around 4 CCTV cameras have been installed in the premises of the pandal (marquee), and measures for firefighting have also been taken into consideration.
