5-month old baby tests positive for COVID-19 in Naharkatiya

A 5 month old baby has tested positive for COVID-19 at Naharkatiya in Dibrugarh district on Wednesday.

The child's parents also tested, but unfortunately they were tested negative for the infection. They were under home isolation.

Speaking to the media, ASHA worker said, " The baby was tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, baby's parents tested negative. They were now at home isolation."

Dibrugarh district recorded 229 Covid positive cases on April 29. There are total 1593 active COVID patients in the district.
