AAMSU leaders detained for holding protest against State Education Minister in South Salmara

The Police Department at Hatsingimari in South Salmara-Mankachar District detained All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU) district president Shafiqul Islam, district secretary Ataur Rasul and 40 other members of the organization for holding protest and burning down effigy of State Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya in front of Deputy Commissioner's office on Friday.
