After 72 hours of struggle, Leopard caged in Jorhat

The residents of Saruchorai Tea Estate in Jorhat District had anxious nights since past 72 hours, as one male leopard which camped at the tea estate had terrorized the residents and also ate their livestock.

Meanwhile, Forest Department managed to tranquilize the leopard on Friday.

After it became unconscious, the leopard was locked in a cage after a huge struggle at around 7 am in the morning.
