Ahom Jatiya Gana Manch protests against attempt to commercialize state's heritage

Members of the Ahom Jatiya Gana Manch staged a protest in front of the office of Archaeology department against a recently conducted event at Talatal Ghar. A city-based private news channel had conducted an event at Talatal Ghar which has been criticized by several aware citizens of the state. Although the channel had taken permission from the concerned department, they had allegedly disregarded the guidelines laid down to them.
