Assam Artistes Association Oppose hosting of 'Filmfare Awards 2020' in Assam

Slamming the State BJP Government, the Assam Artistes Association on Tuesday claimed that the hosting of an award show like 'Filmfare Awards 2020' in Guwahati amidst the ongoing protest against Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 will be an insult.

Addressing the media at Guwahati Press Club, artistes namely Pulak Banerjee, Zerifa Wahid, Rabi Sharma thrashed the Government of Assam for hosting the show in Guwahati this February.
