Assam Minister Buys 10kg Fish, 20kg Pork to Celebrate Magh Bihu

Assam Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management, Jugen Mohan was seen buying two ducks, a 10 kg fish, 20 kg pork ahead of the Magh Bihu celebrations. The minister was seen buying stuff ahead of the Uruka feast on Wednesday in the main market of Moran. He also sang few lines of a Bihu song as the entire state celebrates the harvest festival of Magh Bihu, also known as Bhogali Bihu as feasting and community feasts and bonfires (mejis) form a major part of Magh Bihu celebrations. The Minister also took stock of the prices and availability of food items in the Moran market.
