Burglary incident in Karimganj Town

Miscreants on Friday evening loot cash and pieces of jewellery worth 3 lakh of rupees (approx) in Karimganj.

As per reports, the incident took place in the No.2 ward of Karimganj Town.

The victim identified as Ajit Das went to a temple in the evening hours along with his family when the incident took place, informed Karimganj Police.

So far no arrest was made in connection to the incident.

On the other hand, locals in the area blamed the police department for failing to apprehend the burglars.

Further investigation is on.
