Coal laden truck overturns at Tinsukia-Makum bypass road, Driver injured

A coal laden truck skidded off road and over turned near zero point at Tinsukia-Makum bypass on Wednesday morning.

As per initial reports, the truck (RJ06 GC 1823) was carrying a consignment of illegal coal from Ledo in Assam's Margherita.

The truck driver was reported injured during the incident.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, on being questioned by the media, informed that the truck was heading towards Bihar and the truck met with the accident because he "lost his control." He further informed that the coal is raw.
