Drive against Drug Mafias in Nagaon

In a major drive against drug mafias in Nagaon, Police seized huge quantity of brown sugar near Raha Toll gate and apprehended four people in connection to the matter.

The operation was led by Additional Superintendent of Police Roze Kalita.

Among the four apprehended people, one was reported to be a lady.

Police sources informed that the gang was heading towards Nagaon from Guwahati in car bearing registration AS 01AR 2878.

The apprehended persons were identified as Muktar Ali, Hanan Ali, Fulsan Ali and Sakina Begum.
